4,3,2,1 movie review

So, I watched 4,3,2,1 last night. Noel Clarke wrote and co-directed this movie with Mark Davis and it stars Emma Roberts, Tamsin Egerton, Ophelia Lovibond and Shanika Warren-Markland as 4 friends that find themselves mixed up in a diamond theft.

The film is fun in parts but overlong, it could have been at least 15 minutes shorter and not suffered. Even a cameo from Silent Bob himself (Kevin Smith for the uninformed) didn’t manage to raise this movie to greater heights. The girls acting isn’t the best and I think they were cast based on looks alone. Especially so for Miss Egerton who is pure eye candy to the point of distraction.

Stick with Kidulthood and Adulthood if you want to see Noel Clarke at his best 🙂

I’m giving this a 6 out of 10
